San Francisco – Today, Validant, a leading Quality, Compliance and Regulatory services firm to global biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device companies, has expanded its senior leadership team with the addition of Bob Rhoades as Managing Partner.
Bob Rhoades brings to Validant a 38-year career in managing consulting services teams while advising pharmaceutical, biologics and device firms on compliance and business strategy. Bob has designed and implemented compliance-improvement initiatives for manufacturers in the United States, Europe, India and China and frequently offered post-Warning Letter guidance and remediation project management to clients striving to re-establish credibility with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA).
Bob’s track record of successful outcomes in Quality and Compliance consulting has secured him a seat on the Board of Directors with the Food Drug and Law Institute (FDLI), a nonprofit membership organization that offers education, training, publications and professional networking opportunities in the field of food and drug law.
Most recently, Bob was Senior Vice President of Quality and Compliance at QuintilesIMS, where his recognized success facilitated the growth of QuintilesIMS Consulting Services practice to that in which it is today. Earlier in his career, Bob held various leadership roles at Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Bausch & Lomb and Baxter Healthcare.
Bob holds a Masters of Business Administration in Operations Management and Strategic Planning from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Purdue University.
